Hello, Moz fans, and welcome to another installment of Whiteboard Friday. This week we’ll discuss the technique sometimes called keyword plus year. The trick is that you pick a keyword with a certain search volume, and then add a period (could be one month or one month plus one year) so that you can leapfrog many other players (due to one month plus one year) in a less competitive field. No, no, not the 2012 edition of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. I want 2017. Who are the best real estate agents in Seattle in 2017? So they'll add this year to it. The great thing is, because this year or this month will only show up when it happens, those searches will only show up when we get to that time period, so the keyword research won't show it to you. So, for example, let's set this to 2017,
